How to Create a Risk Scenario

On the Dersalis platform, risk scenarios are used to automatically identify situations that could represent danger or discomfort to employees. These scenarios are configured within a monitoring setup, either when creating it from scratch or when editing an existing one.

Below we show the step-by-step process to create a risk scenario.

1. Access the desired monitoring setup

You can create risk scenarios either while editing a monitoring setup or creating a new one. Go to the Monitor tab and click the name of the monitoring setup you want to configure.

2. Click "Edit monitoring"

At the top of the screen, click the Edit monitoring button.

3. Go to the "Risk scenarios" section

Scroll down to the Risk scenarios section and click Create new to start configuring a new scenario.

4. Define the triggers

Choose the trigger that will generate the incident. For example, heart rate below 55 bpm. You can only add one trigger per incident.

5. Adjust the scenario settings

Configure the criteria for how the incident will be detected and classified:

  • Minimum occurrence: defines the time required to consider the event an incident.
  • Initial intensity: determines the risk level (1 to 5).
  • Escalation condition: defines the check frequency for level increases.
  • Requires action: whether the incident needs a manual response.
  • Resolution: time without occurrence to close the incident.
  • Alert employee: choose whether the employee is notified directly in the app.

Once configured, just save the changes. Your risk scenario will be active within the monitoring setup and will be used to automatically identify critical situations in the field.

If you need help deciding which triggers to use, see the Risk Scenarios article.
