How to create a risk scenario

Configure custom triggers to monitor specific situations within a monitoring

Updated over 6 months ago

On the Dersalis platform, risk scenarios are used to automatically identify conditions that may pose danger or discomfort to workers. These scenarios are configured inside a monitoring, either when creating a new one or editing an existing one.

See below how to create a risk scenario step by step.

1. Access the desired monitoring

You can create risk scenarios by either editing an existing monitoring or creating a new one. Go to the Monitor tab and click the name of the monitoring you want to configure.

2. Click "Edit monitoring"

At the top of the screen, click the Edit monitoring button.

3. Go to the “Risk scenarios” section

Scroll down to the Risk scenarios section and click Create new to start the configuration.

4. Set the trigger

Choose the trigger that will generate the incident. For example, heart rate below 55 bpm.
You can only add one trigger per incident.

5. Adjust the scenario settings

Set the criteria for incident detection and classification:

  • Minimum occurrence: how long the condition must persist to generate an incident.

  • Initial intensity: defines the risk level (from 1 to 5).

  • Aggravation condition: recurrence interval to increase the level.

  • Requires handling: if the incident needs manual action.

  • Closure: time without occurrence to close the incident.

  • Notify worker: choose if the worker will be notified via the app.

After saving, the risk scenario becomes active within the monitoring and will automatically detect field incidents.
