The WhatsApp messaging channel allows supervisor groups to receive automatic notifications when incidents are registered during active monitoring.
Below we explain how to configure the sending channel, authorize message delivery, and how alerts are triggered.
1. Enabling the WhatsApp Channel
To enable sending via WhatsApp, the channel must be selected in the desired broadcast group configuration.
2. Message Authorization
When the first incident is triggered, a message will be sent requesting authorization to continue notifications for the next 24 hours.
If approved, alerts will be sent automatically.
If denied, no further messages will be sent during this period.
3. Alert Message Examples
New Incident:
When a new incident is registered, a message is sent including:
Severity level
Type of risk (e.g., temperature, fatigue)
Collaborator ID
Monitoring type
Time since the incident began
Time of registration
Escalated Incident:
If the condition worsens, a new message is sent with the updated risk level.
4. Notification Protocol
Each new incident triggers a notification.
A sending task is created for each member of the broadcast group.
If a pending conversation already exists, the message waits for authorization.
Messages are only sent if authorized. Otherwise, they are discarded.
The first message prompts a response valid for 24 hours.
5. System Limitations
Notification timestamps are based on GMT-3.
Messages are sent in Portuguese only.
The system does not check if the phone number is valid on WhatsApp.
